Day 01: Airport - Colombo

On arrival transfer from the airport to Colombo and In the evening do a Colombo city tour. Colombo like many capital cities in developing countries is fast changing its face. Almost overnight, skyscrapers arise from where old buildings once stood. Yet in some parts, the old world charm is retained. As an example, there is a 100-year-old clock tower and several British built colonial buildings. Other places of interest are the old parliament in the fort, residential areas where you find the stately homes of the affluent and the Bandaranaike memorial international conference hall – BMICH, an outright gift to Sri Lanka from the people’s republic of china. Overnight stay at Colombo.

Day 02: Pinnawala - Kandy

After breakfast proceeds to Kandy. En-route visit the elephant orphanage in Pinnawela. This orphanage is the home for about 90 elephants, out of which many are baby elephants found, abandoned or orphaned in the wild. They are being cared, fed and trained by the wildlife authorities. The best time to visit is during the feeding times when one will have the opportunity of seeing the baby elephants being bottle-fed. Also could accompany the elephants to a river close-by and see the elephants having their daily bath. Check-in at the hotel and in the evening visit the temple of the tooth relic and thereafter witness a cultural show featuring traditional Sri Lankan dancing. Dinner and overnight stay at Kandy.

Day 03: Kandy - Negombo

After breakfast does a Kandy city tour. Kandy was the last capital of the Sri Lankan kings, which is a world heritage site. The name Kandy conjures visions of splendor and magnificence. Many of the legends, traditions, and folklore are still lovingly kept alive. Drive around the Kandy Lake built by the last Sinhala king Sri Wickrama Rajasinghe in 1806. Visit the arts and crafts center and a gem museum and a lapidary. In the evening visit the Peradeniya botanical garden. This botanical garden was first built as a pleasure garden by a Sinhala king and was expanded by the British. It is 147 acres in extent and provides an amazing variety of trees, plants, and flowers. Afternoon you will be transferred to the Beach Hotel in Negombo. Overnight stay at Negombo.

Day 04: Negombo - Colombo Airport

Get up in the morning any time you wish. Spend the day in independent leisure activities. Probably most of you would like to go to the beach, the most popular natural attractions in Sri Lanka. Major beach resort on the West Coast is Negombo. Long stretches of sandy beaches and the sea are premiere attractions of Negombo, a conventional fishing town. Along with the beach, the fish market is also worth visiting. You can savor delicious fish in Negombo.
